Amendment to the Income Tax Law as of 06.03.2026

The Income Tax Law which is part of the above publication has been recently amended introducing, inter alia, a new exemption from tax, applicable as of the 1st of January 2025:

“(21B) twenty-five percent (25%) of the remuneration from any employment in the Republic or of the earnings of an individual from the exercise of any business in the Republic, with a maximum amount of exemption in the year of assessment of twenty-five thousand euros (€25,000). Provided that the provisions of this paragraph shall apply in respect of an individual who ……”
