Delivery / Shipping
Order processing time
All orders for online books and publications are processed automatically upon payment by the buyer through CITYOFLAW’s Web Store.
All orders for printed books and/or other publications (the ‘products’) are usually processed within 7 – 10 business days (which excludes weekends and public holidays) upon payment through CITYOFLAW’s Web Store and upon receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
In the event of non availability of the product(s) for any reason, we will inform you thereof and you will have the right to cancel your order and obtain a refund of the amount you have paid or wait until the product(s) are available once again.

Domestic Shipping rules and limitations
The shipping rates mentioned above may be subject to change by the relevant courier provider that we use.
Deliveries are made during usual working hours during business days only.
In-store pickup (subject to availability)
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup from the address to be specified during the time of placing your order. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 7 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are during usual working hours during business days only. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
International Shipping
We offer international shipping to the countries as set out in the attached list and in accordance with the international rates specified in the said list. These rates may be subject to change by the relevant courier provider.
If we cannot ship to your country of choice we will inform you by sending you a relevant email and in such case we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund you the amount you have paid and/or arrange an alternative method with you as the case may be.
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. We are not responsible for these charges if they are applied and you will be responsible for their settlement with the competent authorities in the country of delivery.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within X days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at [email protected] with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
We do not ship to P.O boxes.
Voluntary returns, refund and exchange policy
We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at [email protected] with your order number and a photo of the product’s condition so that we can handle the matter and inform you accordingly.
